Join our group of fantastic people @ BaySide Towers, Cocorite from 9am to 10am for a fun and dynamic water aerobics session. Contact me to find out how to join.
Each water aerobics class includes a warm-up, cardio and strength-training exercises, and a cooldown. Expect exercises like water walking, bicep curls, leg lifts, and kickboard moves. You won't be swimming, and most water workouts are done in the shallow end of the pool
For patients who cannot participate in the typical exercises of physical exercise due to joint pain, muscle weakness, or injury, there may be a better alternative. My aquatic therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy that takes place in the water and helps relax your muscles and uses the water's natural resistance to relieve joint pressure often associated with traditional weights or exercises.

After six (6) months of therapy with Lorraine, I found that my balance greatly improved and I had more range of movements in my joints. It was fantastic working with Lorraine!
Lorraine is a wonderful kind and considerate personal trainer. After just a few months my overall strength increased, my cardio workouts were getting longer and I could feel the difference...I was getting healthier!
After my hip and knee surgeries, Lorraine helped me tremendously with my recovery. I could not have gone thought my rehabilitation without her assistance.
If you've been exercising consistently for some time now and aren't losing weight or reaching your goals, hiring a trainer may be a good choice.
Water aerobics builds cardio, strength and resistance all while being easy on the joints and is done in a cool and relaxing atmosphere.
Research has shown that with two 30-minute sessions of a high-intensity workout you can improve your cardiovascular health.
I can help my clients achieve their fitness goals, as well as help them re-evaluate how they view health and wellness in their daily lives.
If working out is painful, ask your doctor about exercising in the water. This is a safe way to build strength and stamina minimizing joint stress.
If you're looking to lower your blood pressure and cholesterol, 40 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic exercise each day will do it.
